The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
